Breakfast

Every Christmas the co manager and I host a
breakfast for the staff. This year it was her turn.
It was very nice she even had her husband put on a
"tuxedo" and serve us.

Mr and Mrs B

These are my best friends parents. I have known them for some 40 years.
They look great don't they? They send out a "picture" Christmas card every year.
This year I was honored when they asked me to take their picture.

BFF'S

Yesterday was my girls Christmas Program at her school.
Nothing is sweeter then hearing 20 4 and 5 year olds
sing Christmas carols. Unless its seeing two little girls giggling in between songs.

Christmas Photo Shoot

On Saturday I had a
Christmas Card Photo shoot for both sides of our families.
I had about 30 people take me up on the offer
to photograph them for their Christmas cards.

It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun.
It was my first time setting up two speed lights.

They are not perfect (I wish the background was whiter)
but I certainly learned a lot.
I just had a little trouble with the shadows on the background.

My Son the Black belt in BJJ and his girl.

My eldest son and his girl.
He actually made the reindeer antlers on his 3d printer.

My Sisters Grandson. Adorable.

My Sisters eldest son and his girl.

My Sister and BFF. Actually they look more like sisters and I look like the BFF

Love these two.

Reverse Photobomber

This afternoon I went out to the local Green House to capture some fall foliage.
Only to realize a wedding was going on. Yay a chance to practice some wedding photography.
Its funny when you carry around a camera with a long lens, people will just step aside
and make way for you assuming your the photographer.
I just need to say I snapped these two shots and got out of there, the real photographer or the Bride for that matter never even saw me.

Skys of Blue, Clouds of White

I went out to the park to try to capture some fall foliage.
The trees are just starting to turn so there wasn't much color.
It didn't much matter to me as it was still the
most glorious fall day.

Fall Photo Styling

My Granddaughter picked these leaves up off the black top
coming out of pre school this afternoon. So I had no choice but to
play around a little with them this evening.  The "Heart Stone" my son
found for me years ago. When I say years ago, Im talking like about 18 yrs ago.
It was so sweet I dropped it in my jewelry box with my other "valuables"
and there it has stayed safe and sound.

Art Show

This is my youngest sons girl. Gorgeous Right?
She also happens to be a very talented artist who had 2 of her pieces exibited.

I of course could not resist taking advantage of the neat little alley
out side the main entrance.

I know I shouldn't say this out loud, since they have only been dating about 10 months.
BUT
the Grandma in me says OMyGosh
would they not make the most beautiful Grandbabys!

I loved this sculpture
(not hers she mostly works on canvas)

But it really was quite intriguing.
What carries more weight the Brain or the Heart? I loved the fact that the heart out weighed the brain.
And the way he depicted that the brain can go a little wild sometimes.
Of course thats just my interpretation.
